Coming up on 7am, 8 hours in to Rails Day, and still going strong. We’ve made some pretty good progress, and Ryan’s really starting to get the hang of things. I’m putting in some tests now, though there are a few I’m not sure how to do yet. I’ve been actively participating in the RailsDay chat on Campfire, which has been fun too. There’s a lot of excitement and energy about this that’s really great to experience.

We picked out our application name - TightWad. I’m feeling good about it, though losing Allison on graphic design will probably hurt us a bit. I’ve learned a ton tonight alone, and I’ll definitely be a better developer thanks to this.
