I just got IMified up and running - I think this could be one of the coolest things I’ve seen in quite a while. I imagine it’ll make things like taking notes at SXSWi a very different experience - write in TextMate, post from Adium, happy days.

It’s not going to be the best for extra long posts - but quick ideas and things like this shouldn’t be too bad.

I haven’t done much with the BackPack and GCal integration, but I’m looking forward to giving those a shot. If I can create reminders for myself from chat, it’ll be so much easier to make sure that everything gets written down when it’s necessary.

It doesn’t appear, at this point, that you can select a specific page in BackPack, which could be interesting. Ideally, there’d be a way to move an element from one page to another, but who knows if 37Signals will ever do that. I spoke too soon - after you finish creating an item (list, note, etc), IMified asks which page should get this note. Awesome.

Regardless, I expect IMified to become a regular tool in my day to day life.
