I’m trying to wipe out all the excess in my life now - the things I have that I don’t need, don’t use, can’t justify.

I’m not going quite to the level of the 100 Things Challenge. Yet.

I am, however, cleaning out a lot of what I have. I’m starting to go through all the boxes of computer stuff and clothes that I’ve moved around with me for years, but still never touch; all those things I keep on hand ‘just in case’. If it hasn’t happened yet, it’s not going to happen. If I’m wrong? I’ll buy a new one when I need it. It’s just not reasonable to hold on to everything like I have.

While it’s not quite the same, I am trying to clean out my electronic life too. I just unsubscribed from over 1/3 of my RSS feeds - down to 190 from 297.

Next on the list is trying to sell my car, going through my clothes and selling or donating them, and becoming very familiar with Craigslist and Ebay.
