RailsConf 2007 Notes
I decided to try taking notes in Google Docs at RailsConf this year; I’m still looking for the best note taking approach for me, and while Google Docs work well for sharing the updates live with people, the overall system is still a bit too slow, especially on heavily trafficked wifi like we had in Portland.
I still haven’t tried setting up TextMate for blogging, but I’m tempted to look in to that - writing in textile wouldn’t be too bad.
- Building Community Focused Apps
- Taking Rails to the Next Level
- Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
- DRYing up your Views: Custom Helpers
- The Business of Rails
- The dark Art of Developing Plugins
- Data Warehouses with ActiveWarehouse
- Rails and Designers
I didn’t get notes from every panel, but I definitely took some good ideas out and would love to discuss things further.
